Capicon
Tuesday, February 5th, 2008Hey, sorry for the lack of updates! I’m working on a new verswion of the site since this current version has many viewing problems and compatability issues within flash and the myriad of browsers out there. I’d also heard that my flash links don’t work too well in Safari.
Anyhow, I’ll be attending this weekend’s Capicon. It’s local so come out and see me if you can! More importantly, I’ll be attending on behalf of Hero Initiative, a organization set up to help comic book artists in need. Wait… that would be me, wouldn’t it… >_<'
More updates soon. I picked up this awesome toy that you guys would get a kick out of! That's for later... My scanner is screwed up right now. Just updated to Windows Vista... It's AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!111!!1! XORz!!! My printer is screwy, my scanner no longer works (but if you also have a Mustek A3 Scanner with Vista you can check here to make it “work”) and the best part (besides the hardware issues) is the constant retarded security questions. I mean, it’s nice that Vista is trying so hard to keep my computer from getting crapped, but seriously… I’m one of these guys that reinstalls windows every 6-8 months anyways. Windows just gets clogged and you need a fresh reinstall every so often.
On an aside, I talked with a “Geek Squad” Goon at Best Buy’s not too long ago after I returned a Sony Laptop due to a Vista software issue (long story). I basically said that Vista sucks my saggy nuts and I want a refund. He decided to try to change my mind by saying that Vista, like XP, is shitty at first but people will get used to it. All of the people who are bitching about Vista now don’t know what they’re talking about… Sorry, pal, I liked XP from the get go. It was much better than Windows 2000 and it really WAS an upgrade. Vista really feels like a downgrade in many aspects. Anyways, if you can hold off on Vista, DO it. Wait for Service Pack 288899982 to come out before pulling the trigger. BTW, not to say that there are no redeeming qualities to Vista. There are. It’s real purty. But then, so is Linux with the right GUI. <_<
