Hi! Yup, been busy yet again. I’m working on the last chapter of BLANK now. It’s the home stretch!

This here was the chapter break for Chapter 2 which didn’t make it onto the TP website.

Looking back, I was very naive about what professional writing was all about. I jumped into writing this book like anything else in my life. Feet first without looking back. Sink or swim, baby! Not the best strategy in the least, but hey- whatever. If I hesitate, I’ll never do it. (Just ask Norman about my procrastination habits)

I feel I’ve learnt a lot about writing professionally by jumping in. Rewriting on the fly, appeasing someone other than myself, things of that nature. Renewed respect for all writing working in the field. It’s tough. So, yeah. Volume 1 writing is rather convuluted, but we’ll see if I can’t turn it around in Volume 2!

So what made it tough? For starters, my lack of English comprehension… > _ <

Secondly, I thought that doing this book was like an American comic in that it would be chapter for chapter with an open ended plot to be fulfilled… oneday. Yikes! That changed around Chapter 3 of Volume 1 when they told me that the story had to be resolved by Volume 3. Haha! Even though I had paced the first two chapters very slowly, chapter 3 all of a sudden had a plot and the story started moving forward very quickly. I hope you all don’t get too thrown off by that swift change. I did try to compensate for it a little. Haha! (In all honesty, I actually preferred it to be a story about nothing at all. Like a series of gags that just (hopefully) made you chuckle a bit) But hey, can’t win them all!

In other news, while commissions aren’t closed, you’ll have to give me lots of breathing room if you wanted one. I’m making a mad dash towards the finish of BLANK Volume 1 as well as another quickie side project. More on that later!

Hopefully, I’ll update in a more timely fashion next time. Hopefully…
