Baltimore Comicon 2004 Sep 11 and 12

Monday, August 30th, 2004

Baltimore Comicon is coming up soon! I Hope you all will be there! It’s become my favorite convention next to Heroescon! Why? Well, because Marc and Bonnie Nathan are the best hosts any artist can hope for! Plus it’s a great show!

I hope that they will expand the show to three days instead of two next year though… Two days doesn’t really give me enough time to get all of the sketches that people ask for completed in time. I really hate that, because it usually means that I have to cut the sketch list early on. SIDENOTE: All of the people that I owe sketches to from Philly and lat year’s BaltimoreCon, I will add you to the list, no matter what. :)
Extra side note… Print out this coupon and bring it with you, and I’ll take $20 off your sketch. See, I am a nice guy! CLICK HERE for coupon.

I hope to see you all there!

Oh, we’ll also have the great LUNA Brothers there with us so go check them out!

Lack of Updates

Wednesday, August 25th, 2004

I haven’t been keeping up with the updateson the board at all! Uwaaah!

Beenworking on the “top secret” property that everyone knows about. But since I just signed a confidentiality agreement, I can’t talk about my “top secret” project anymore. hahaha. It’s been kind of a pain in the butt. This company want development notes and everything… ah chaaa… I’m going to go with Image next time. I’ve heard they aren’t as big a pain. Good times, good times.

Oh, the Punishment never stops…. I’m busting out an intro page for the line of 2099 books as we speak. I’ll be done with it in about 5 hours. I may upload a panel or two.

Well. “Back to the salt mines”, as my mentor Hoang, always said…

All praise Jeebus’ name!

I just finished Punisher 2099! *Wheeeeeeeeeeew* That was a struggle. I don’t think I want to ink myself on an American comic book for a while. It’s an awful lot of work. Thankfully, the writer called for a lot of stats. That helped! But all in all, I put in a lot of work and the timeline is not bad either. 23 pages penciled and inked in about 39 days.

Now…. on to the other crazy stuff!
